Church of the Valley hosted its second
annual FUN-raising musical event:
“Broadway with a Message.”
Featured guest celebrity:
Heather Lundstedt, star of the following
regional musical theatre productions:
“Phantom,” “Oklahoma,” “The Scarlet
Pimpernel,” “My Fair Lady,” “Man of
La Mancha,” Pirates of Penzance,”
“Into the Woods,” “The Sound of Music,”
“Les Misrables,” and “Fiddler on the Roof.”
She has also starred in the opera
“Cosi Fan Tulte” at the Azusa Pacific
University, Azusa, CA. Larry Evans, Music Director for Unity Church of the Valley organized this special evening of Broadway show tunes with a positive message. Other talented performers were Tod Macofsky, Jacquie Donley, Robert Burnam, Sarah Moore and Alfred Beccera, with Kenton Harris on drums and Tom Pedrini on the bass fiddle.Each year, Unity Church of the Valley hopes to present a musical FUN-raiser event for the church and the local community.
